The sun was shining for our assessment day and we at New Beginnings Assistance Dogs would like to say we are so proud of all of you who have worked so hard for the last few months gearing up for these exams!

  • We had 4 passes out of 4 at Bronze

  • We had 4 passes out of 4 at Silver

  • We had 6 passes out of 6 for Public Access Test

It was an absolute pleasure again hosting Tina and Dave from The Animal Behaviour Centre!

We thank you for your time, travelling all the way to assess us and looking forward to the next time.


A big thank you to Irene The Wee Winchburgh Cafe for catering our assessment day. It was a smash again and everyone loved it.

Tough Mudder 2022

Here at New Beginnings Assistance Dogs we don’t do things by half!

Our very own Sarah Devlin successfully completed Tough Mudder and managed to raise over £1100 for the organisation.

It was a wet and 'dreich' day here in Scotland when we hosted Dave and Tina from the Animal Behaviour Centre.

Dave and Tina took us all through our paces and we are all a little tired after the great session!.

We are so proud to announce that our member Cheryl and the lovely Max passed thier Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Silver Award.

Here at New Beginnings we enjoyed a lovely training lunch.

FRIDAY 18-OCT-2019

We have obtained Kennel Club GCDS Listed Status for our Club!
This means we can now perform all examinations in-house.


Monday 20th January 2020.

We are now listed on the Kennel Club website as a Good Citizen Dog Scheme Training Club.

On Sunday 21st July some of our members took part in a Canine First Aid course.

The course was run by Forth Training and was well received by all attendees.

We now have 8 qualified canine First Aiders at New Beginnings Assistance Dogs and we couldn't be prouder!

On Sunday 24th June the children of our members took part in a Fun Sports Day.
As we all know Sports Day at school can be a really stressful time for our kids and we like to think we made this a nice environment for them!
