Beginners Class
The Beginners Class uses positive reinforcement and involves establishing routines and basic rules for behaviour, both inside and outside the home.

This class is aimed to assess what stage of training is required and will enable us to progress your dog into the right class.
​
​
Puppy Socialisation Class
The Puppy Socialisation Class helps puppies learn to interact with people and and other dogs in positive way. This class aims to help puppies develop confidence, desensitization and social skills using positive reinforcement methods and teaches basic rules for behaviour, both inside and outside the home.

This class is on at 4pm every Friday. Puppies can start after they have been vaccinated.

Puppy Foundation Class
The Puppy Foundation Class aims to provide education and basic training techniques using constructive play coupled with exercises that make training fun!
​
This class is for puppies up to a maximum of 12 month old and must attend class for a minimum of 4 weeks.
We provide assessment by the class instructor and upon graduating your puppy will receive the Good Citizen Dog Scheme Puppy Foundation Certificate.
Bronze Class
The Bronze Class aims to build upon basic knowledge and training. Providing fun training techniques to a basic standard that all dogs can achieve with the correct handling.

There is no canine age limit for this class and your dog is not required to have completed the Puppy Foundation Class.
​
The assessment is by an examiner and upon graduation your dog will receive the Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze Certificate.

Silver Class
Our Silver Class is aimed for dogs who have achieved the Bronze Certificate and builds upon their knowledge and training increasing the level of difficulty while still incorporating fun!
​
We believe that every dog deserves the chance to reach their full potential, therefore there is no canine age limit for this class.
Our training progression to Silver introduces new concepts and exercises that are important in everyday life and lays the foundations for becoming an Assistance dog.

The assessment is by an examiner and upon graduation your dog will receive the Good Citizen Dog Scheme Silver Certificate.

ADI (Assistance Dog)
The ADI Class follows the ADI training to the highest standards, providing the highest difficulty level tailored to the specific needs of each handler and their dog.
​
Assistance Dogs are an extension of their handler’s abilities and by law can accompany them into public places such as restaurants, workplaces, shops, and public transport. This allows them to do tasks that may have been impossible before, and for many, this can be life changing. Assistance Dogs become an invaluable part of the handler’s life, allowing them to live more independently and confidently.
The Public Access Assessment is performed by an examiner and upon achievement your dog will be a Fully Qualified Assistance Dog.
Child Therapy Sessions
Our Child Therapy sessions start on Friday 10th May 2024 and provide a pawsitively rewarding experience, allowing your child to cuddle and interact with our trained therapy dogs. Sessions are held at our Training Centre in a comfortable and calming environment. The benefits of these sessions include improvement in increased confidence and can help boost physical and mental wellbeing and is proven to reduce stress. We also provide the children with education on basic dog care.
Please note, Parents/Carers must stay with the child during sessions.

Spaces are limited, therefore if the session is fully booked then you will be offered a space on our waiting list. When a space becomes available your spot will be held for 12 hours before being offered to the next client on the waiting list.

Therapy Visits
Animal Assisted Therapy can help boost physical and mental wellbeing and is proven to reduce stress.
​
For the safety of the dog and the people they visit our Therapy dogs are assessed and trained in basic obedience and are adaptable to the environment they visit.
Our volunteering team can visit establishments such as schools, retirement / care homes, hospitals, workplaces etc. Regrettably, for insurance purposes we are not able to provide home visits.
​
Please contact us to enquire about a visit to your establishment from one of our Therapy Dogs.

Therapy Dog Training
We are dedicated to helping you and your dog develop the skills needed to become a certified Therapy Dog team.
Our instructor will assess your dogs temperament for suitability to undertake this role.
Our Therapy Dog training class helps to ensure that the dog is healthy and happy, and that the owner has the knowledge to be a successful team.
​
We provide assessment by the class instructor and upon graduating your dog will receive the Therapy Dog certificate. Your team can then volunteer for Therapy visits within the community.

Deep dive sessions take place on a periodic basis. Assessments will also take place at this time if your dog is ready.
