What is an Assistance Dog?
Assistance Dogs are highly trained to perform a specific set of tasks and focus on a single person. They support disabled people and people with medical conditions in a variety of ways, helping to mitigate the persons disability.
An Assistance Dog has public access rights under UK law and can access places such as supermarkets, restaurants, planes!
What is a Therapy Dog?
Therapy Dogs are sometimes called "Comfort dogs" they are often a pet dog belonging to a volunteer who visits establishments or the community to provide emotional support for people, which can be of therapeutic benefit.
A Therapy dog does not have any public access rights!
Beginner Award
The Puppy Foundation Class
aims to provide education and basic training techniques using constructive play coupled with exercises that make training fun!
This class is for puppies up to a maximum of 12 month old and must attend class for a minimum of 4 weeks. We provide assessment by the class instructor and upon graduating your puppy will receive the
Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Puppy Foundation Certificate.


The Bronze Class aims to build upon basic knowledge and training.
Providing fun training techniques to a basic standard that all dogs can achieve with the correct handling.
There is no canine age limit for this class and your dog is not required to have completed the Puppy Foundation Class!
The assessment is by an examiner and upon graduation your dog will receive the Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Bronze Certificate.
Bronze Award

Silver Award
The Silver Class aims to build upon the knowledge and training achieved through the Bronze Award and increases the level of difficulty while still incorporating fun!
This training progression introduces new concepts and exercises that are important in every day life!
There is no canine age limit for this assessment and this class is aimed for dogs who have achieved the Bronze Certificate.
The assessment is by an examiner and upon graduation your dog will receive the Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Silver Certificate.

Assistance Dog
The ADI Class builds upon the knowledge and training achieved through the Silver Award.
Training to the high standards of Assistance Dogs involves the highest difficulty level.
A fully qualified Assistance Dog is an extension of a person's abilities and by law can accompany their handler into public places like restaurants, shops and public transport. Enabling them to do simple things like shopping, that may have been previously impossible, for many this can be life changing!
The assessment is by an examiner and upon achievement your dog will be a
Fully Qualified Assistance Dog.

DEEP DIVE / ASSESSMENTS
Deep dive sessions take place on a periodic basis. Assessments will also take place at this time if your dog is ready.
